Did You Know?
Over the past 24 years, RPG has introduced many acoustical innovations, but it has also improved on traditional acoustical products like pyramids, barrels, etc. In this issue, we highlight the fiber reinforced gypsum (GRG) traditional convex arc, available in 4'x4' or 2'x2' for wall or T-bar installation. The use of GRG, as opposed to thermoformed plastics insures the RPG Convex Arc is non-diaphragmatic and incombustible. All of this innovation at competitive pricing. So if you are not specifying RPG for traditional shapes, we invite you to see and hear the difference.

Clearsorber Foil
Clearsorber Foil is a highly absorptive, thin, microperforated, polycarbonate foil (Kaetaphon) 0.105 mm thick, with a surface weight of 0.03 lb/sf, with a B1 flame rating (DIN 4102). The hole diameter is 0.21 mm and the holes are spaced 2 mm x 2mm apart. It is available in a transparent, translucent or metallic print (light shade). New SIAP Demo White Paper
The photo shows RPG's seminar room equipped with a new SIAP Mark IV 32 output installation. The seminar room seats about 25 and is used regularly for educational seminars and CATT Acoustic headphone auralization demonstrations. In the photo, one can see the four KM185 Neumann microphones. There are 32 Frazier C399 loudspeakers mounted in ceiling baffles covered with gray fabric. Live music and speech can be auditioned, as well as processed and unprocessed anechoic recordings, using the processed and unprocessed line inputs. The loudspeakers are powered by 4 QSC CX168 8-channel amplifiers. RPG will sponsor training sessions at our facility throughout 2007, so call for an appointment and stay tuned!
