RPG Launches New Noise and Vibration Control Division
RPG announces the launch of a new Noise and Vibration Control Division which will distribute the advanced isolation products of Customized Design of Mass-Spring-Systems (CDM).
RPG and CDM share the same mission of providing leading edge technology through a commitment to fundamental acoustics research. This commitment is reflected in
the leadership role each company has earned in their respective markets. Dr. D'Antonio, RPG's founder, has indicated that "after 25 years of pioneering developments
in interior room acoustics, measurement methodology, fundamental acoustics research and education, RPG is poised to expand its scope to include noise and vibration control."
To accomplish this, RPG has expanded its acoustical staff and manufacturing facility. It will also begin providing continuing education to architects in noise control
and host advanced seminars for acousticians, in conjunction with CDM engineers.
Announcing the first CDM-RPG Noise and Vibration Control Seminar on March 28th, 2008
The CDM-RPG Room Isolation System includes a complete range of floor, wall and ceiling isolation products to fabricate a complete room-in-room design, utilizing a wide range
of elastomeric solids and springs to provide the appropriate solution to meet the project requirements and related budgets. All using the latest innovative technology.
On March 28th, 2008 RPG will host a special seminar at RPG for specifying acousticians to describe RPG's new Noise and Vibration Control Division and the science behind the innovative
products. We will have the honor of being joined by representatives from the CDM engineering team including Dr. Ir. Reinhilde Lanoye, Ir. Michael Vanstraelen and Christina Dicioco.
Comparisons will also be presented on how the CDM solutions compare with existing technology in the market place.
Space is limited, so please contact your local representative or RPG at your earliest convenience to guarantee a seat at this historic seminar and request an agenda.
Special SIAP Demonstration at the Seminar
As a special bonus at the March 28th seminar, we have the pleasure of being joined by Dr. Bjorn van Munster from SIAP Acoustic Systems.
RPG has recently installed a SIAP MKIV 32 output installation in its seminar room and Dr. van Munster will describe the system and conduct a demonstration of its
performance with live musicians. This will be a treat you won't want to miss.
For more information, you can download the
RPG SIAP Demo Room white paper.
Special New Product Announcements at the Seminar
RPG will also announce the first microperforated, sound absorbing wood veneer Topperfo PIN panel. On the left side you see a wood veneer panel, in which
the 0.5 mm microperforations are invisible at normal viewing distance. On the right we show the rear surface, with the black non-woven matt partially
cut away to reveal the 6 mm rear holes and the microperforations on the face. Topperfo PIN is also available on a new non-combustible core called RESAP. There will also be
other surprises at the seminar, so make plans now to attend, because seating is limited.
Did You Know? Schools are RPG's #1 Client
We continue with our focus on schools. RPG is now being specified in school systems across the country, because we offer a complete range of innovative products and design assistance for
classrooms, lecture halls, auditoria, music practice and rehearsal rooms, gymnasiums, swimming pools, meeting/conference/teleconference rooms, recording and broadcast studios,
computer rooms, laboratories, power generation and HVAC facilities.
