RPG Goes Green with Ecose™ Technology
We invite you to explore how RPG can help you apply for LEED Credits on your next project,
by using the RPG Leed Scorecards.
What is Ecose™ Technology?
A new and more sustainable binder made from rapidly renewable bio-based materials, eliminating the non-renewable
petroleum-based chemicals such as phenol, formaldehyde or acrylics commonly used in other insulation binders.
Why is it brown?
Brown is the natural color of fiberglass insulation made with Ecose™ Technology.
How is Ecose™ Technology better for the environment?
By eliminating non-renewable petroleum based chemicals traditionally used, Ecose™ reduces the binder embodied energy by up to 70%, shrinking the carbon footprint and manufacturing emissions.
RPG Absorbor and BAD Panels are Greenguard approved and do not contain phenol, formaldehyde or acrylics.

Burj Khalifa, Dubai UAE
RPG is proud to have provided a custom non-rectangular patterned TopAkustik ceiling suspension system for the 152nd, 153rd and 154th floor
of the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building. RPG worked with Skidmore Owings Merril (SOM), Chicago office, PMK Dallas and Dubai and our local representative to oversee the entire project, with drawing supervision, field measurement
supervision and interfacing with TopAkustik. The ceilings perimeter was extremely complex and followed the irregular boundary of the room with an offset,
which was painstakingly determined from extensive field surveying. In addition, a stepped and undulating TopAkustik ceiling system is also located on the 123rd floor.
Northridge High School, Middlebury, Indiana
Acoustician, Tom Lorenzen, dBA Acoustics, Inc.: Expectations were high after meeting with the music department staff and
school administrators. dBA Acoustics once again relied on the expertise of RPG's staff to assist with implementing properly designed
acoustical materials into this project. As a result, the Auditorium's measured T60 was within 10% of design calculations, very good indeed!
Architect, Greg Wehling, AIA, VP Moake Park Group, Inc.: When it comes to the acoustic qualities of the practice and performance spaces
of Moake Park Group's design of the new Northridge High School in Middlebury, IN, we could not ask for more. By teaming with dBA Acoustics we
got the acoustical expertise of Tom Lorenzen who provided the acoustical design for the Band and Choir rooms along with the associated practice
rooms and a 999 seat Auditorium with an orchestra pit. Floor isolation for second floor mechanical rooms was also a project requirement.
All of these areas were acoustically designed around RPG Diffusor Systems, Inc. products including; RPG DiffusorBlox, Omniffusor, Modex and
Formedffusor ceiling panels, Abffusor and BAD wall panels, Waveform overhead clouds, and the CDM floor isolation system. Every space is acoustically
performing at the highest of levels, which makes the performers and audiences alike very proud to be a part of Middlebury Community Schools.
