RPG Continually Evolving
As part of our year long 25th Anniversary Celebration, we will be announcing significant new technology and products. In April we launched our new
Noise and Vibration Control Division and the response has been extremely enthusiastic. Our design engineers are at your service, so give us a call. In this issue, RPG announces
the first microperforated wood veneer panel, with 30,000 holes per square foot. In response to your requests, RPG has continually decreased the hole diameter and spacing on the Topperfo absorptive wood panels. Compare
the Topperfo Micro bottom right with a non-perforated wood panel in the center. Now architects can specify absorptive Topperfo Micro wood panels in any veneer without compromising the aesthetics of their
designs and significantly quiet noisy environments at the same time. For more information, please download the
Topperfo Micro brochure.
CDM-RPG Noise and Vibration Control System Finds Immediate Application
Designers have quickly embraced the innovative technology and products of the new RPG-CDM Room Isolation System. The CDM-ISO-QRW (wall) and CDM-ISO-QRC (ceilings)
offer three features not found in conventional products, namely: foolproof precompression of the elastomer to lower the resonant frequency, ease of installation with novel
hinged wings and safe and secure capture of the hat channel. Ceiling and wall elastomers are color coded to suit the different loads. The CDM-ISO-PSJ and CDM-ISO-PRJ,
utilizing solid elastomer or spring isolators, respectively, provide ceiling suspension from joists, thereby offering maximum ceiling height. Lastly, the CDM-ISO-CCO utilizes a
solid elastomer to isolate and safely and securely capture a hat channel for drywall attachment.
Please contact Tom Ryan, Director of RPG's Noise and Vibration Division, for more information. We also invite you to visit our
