The Topakustik absorptive wood system offers interesting architecture and acoustical performance. It is finding widespread application in museums, like the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, which is the Rocky Mountain region’s leading resource for informal science education. The architect was Klipp Architecture, Denver CO. Many other installations including libraries, boardrooms and conference centers are being installed all over the world. RPG Specified on Broken Arrow
The Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center fulfills a dream for Broken Arrow, OK that dates back to the early 1970s. The building will be used by the school system in the area but also by local community groups and organizations. As stated by the Broken Arrow Schools Chief Communications Officer Keith Isbell, “It was the desire of our school board and our fine arts teachers that this be a true performing arts center rather than just an auditorium. Special attention has been given, for example, to acoustics.” This project was designed by Beck Design Group out of Tulsa, OK and the acoustical consultant was WJHW of Dallas, TX. RPG provided all wall and ceiling materials for this project consisting of custom stained Oak constrained-layer-damped wall reflectors and custom damped Monoradial ceiling panels. There were also custom stained QRDs on the rear wall and DiffusorBlox in the orchestra pit. The facility will have a grand opening this Fall.

RPG Selected for Arcadia High School
This is a redevelopment of a high school campus in a suburban Phoenix neighborhood. RPG provided QRD Diffusors for the side and rear walls of the new auditorium on campus to scatter sound laterally throughout the room. The design incorporated many custom sized White Birch units to create the final look. The acoustical consultant on the project was Convergent Technologies Design Group and the architect Orcutt Winslow (Phoenix, AZ).

Announcing the CDM-ISO-DPM Isolation Floor System with Springs
All roll out isolation floor systems have traditionally utilized elastomer pads in the roll out mat. The RPG CDM-ISO-DPM offers a variety of elastomers in cork rubber, natural rubber and polyurethane for floors of any weight. Now we are proud to introduce the first roll out mat with spring elements (offering a 4 Hz resonant frequency) in our innovative polyester mat for additional flexibility. Installation is simple and easy: no gloves or respirator required.
