“Lee
Sound Design was responsible for acoustical design, sound system
design and audio visual projection system design for the 1000
seat Auditorium. Extensive use of diffusion products, including
RPG DiffusorBlox® specialty concrete masonry units. Room size
and geometry were designed for improved acoustic music performance.
A left_center_right theatrical loudspeaker system was provided
with house and projection booth mix positions. The rear wall DiffusorBlox®
were specified as rough and unfinished for maximum absorption.
The stagehouse DiffusorBlox® were specified as a smooth, finished
surface for maximum diffusion/reflection. Noise Criteria, reverberation
times, ITDG, speech intelligibility and sound system acoustic
coverage were predicted and calculated prior to construction.
After construction these parameters were measured and verified
using primarily the TEF Analyzer.”

The
room is used for High School and Civic purposes more than Junior
High School functions. Sounds very good in the room. Everyone
was very happy.
