I have always felt that the room is a major part of the equation
when it comes to critical listening. The proper acoustic environment
is necessary to allow the full potential of both loudspeaker
and electronics to be realized. When designing my home theater,
it became evident that the required loudspeaker and listener
positions would result in high-level early reflections that
would interfere with the direct field from the loudspeakers
and cause tonal coloration and poor localization. Part of
the solution was to treat the entire rear wall of the room
with Diffractals®. RPG® custom built the units to
